- 1 cup (240g) active sourdough starter (bubbly and fed)
- 1 ¼ cups (300ml) warm milk (or water for dairy-free)
- 2 tbsp (30g) honey or sugar
- 3 tbsp (40g) butter, softened (or olive oil)
- 4 cups (500g) bread flour (or all-purpose flour)
- 1 ½ tsp salt
