
👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter or oil.
2️⃣ Sauté the Veggies
- Heat 1 tbsp butter/oil in a pan.
- Sauté the onion until soft, then add garlic & cabbage.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika.
3️⃣ Layer the Casserole
- Spread half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish.
- Add the sautéed cabbage mixture on top.
- Layer the rest of the potatoes over it.
4️⃣ Prepare the Creamy Mixture
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream (or milk), and oregano.
- Pour evenly over the casserole.
5️⃣ Add the Cheese & Bake
- Sprinkle the top with grated cheese.
- Add breadcrumbs for an extra crispy topping (optional).
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
