Honey Butter Skillet Corn Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen or fresh corn kernels (about 4 ears of corn, husked and kernels removed)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional, for a little kick)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional for an added citrus note)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Corn

  • If using fresh corn, husk the corn and remove the kernels by slicing down the sides of each ear with a sharp knife.
  • If using frozen corn, simply measure out 4 cups of kernels. There’s no need to thaw the frozen corn before cooking.

Step 2: Heat the Skillet

  • Place a large skillet or frying pan on medium-high heat. Allow the pan to warm up for a minute or two.
